  1. Make an appointment at the Hungarian consulate in your home country.
  2. Bring all required documents and application forms to the appointment.
  3. Pay your visa application fee at the consulate appointment.
  4. Wait for approval (about 30 days).
  5. After approval, you’ll be granted an entry visa only valid for 30 days. When you arrive in Hungary, you must get your white card (your official residence permit) within the first month. Apply at the National Directorate-General for Aliens Policing in your area.
